Card for MIL

I made this card for my mother in law. Used some freebie decoupage from Papercraft Inspirations, which I matted & layered with some mirri board & card then edged this with some lace. BP is an Anna Griffin design from American Crafts. The sentiment was part of the freebie, which I matted & layered, but I made the tag &  used a Mum peeloff.

Alphabet Challenge Blog

U is for unused stash - for my DT card on the Alphabet Challenge Blog,I hunted to the very bottom of my stash & found some cream mulberry paper, pink & lilac lace, purple & pink flowers, paper leaves, stamens (left over from cake making!),  lilac ribbon & some self adhesive  tags. I used the paper as a backing paper & just built up the rest of the elements, adding a little glitter in the middle of the purple flowers. Scrabbled around a little more & found a matching bow that just finished the card off.

Spyder's House Mouse Challenge

Finally! Here is my card - didn't think I was going to get it done what with Dad being in hospital for 21/2 weeks following an op. Then needing a little TLC at home & working extra hours at work to cover hols - deep breath!! Managed to get to some crafting this morning (big smile!). So here it is....

Paper pieced toadstool/mushroom & mouse. Coloured in using ProMarkers, watercolour pencils(for background), chalked edges, glitter & Fabric Appliqué on toadstool/mushroom. Crystal lacquers on flowers & raindrop. Backing paper by Backyard Flutter from American Crafts(won these papers a few weeks ago for a card I made for a Which Crafts challenge). The sentiment made using Word on PC. Love the image-thanks Lyn xx

Alphabet Challenge Blog

T is for trees - for my DT card on the Alphabet Challenge Blog, Well - it's getting to that time of year again - so it had to be a Christmas tree! I used the image from Decoupage Plus! Christmas Trees by Chris Warner at papercraft world. I printed the decoupage onto photo paper & added some sparkle with Stickles, resized the image to make a tag sentiment. Printed off the matching backing sheet and assembled the card.
